🌼 Wildcrafted Minnesota Dandelion
Hand-harvested locally and slow-infused into our carrier oils. Dandelion is rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E, and has long been used in herbal traditions to support skin health, reduce inflammation, and promote a clear, even complexion. It's the heart of nearly every Zoopitee formula.
🌻 Organic Unrefined Sunflower Oil
A lightweight, skin-compatible carrier oil naturally high in linoleic acid (omega-6), which helps maintain the skin's barrier function and keeps moisture locked in. Unlike refined oils, we use unrefined sunflower oil to preserve its full spectrum of vitamins and skin-nourishing compounds. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy.
🐝 Minnesota Local Beeswax
Sourced from local Minnesota beekeepers, beeswax creates a breathable, protective layer on the skin that seals in moisture without clogging pores. It's naturally antibacterial, helps soothe irritated skin, and gives our balms and lotion bars their satisfying texture. Supporting local beekeepers also supports local pollinator health.
🧈 Organic Unrefined Shea Butter
One of nature's most effective emollients, shea butter is packed with fatty acids (oleic, stearic, linoleic) and vitamins A, E, and F. Used unrefined, it retains its natural anti-inflammatory and skin-regenerating properties. It softens rough skin, soothes irritation, and provides lasting moisture without a heavy feel.
🥥 Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
Cold-pressed and unrefined, virgin coconut oil is naturally antimicrobial thanks to its high lauric acid content. It softens and conditions skin, supports the skin's natural barrier, and adds a light, pleasant scent. We use it in balms, salves, and soaks where its protective qualities shine.
🌞 Non-Nano Zinc Oxide
Our mineral UV filter in SunShade. Non-nano means the particles are large enough that they cannot penetrate the skin — providing broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection that sits on top of the skin rather than absorbing into it. It's reef-safe, non-toxic, and effective from the moment you apply it — no activation time needed.
🛁 Magnesium Salt
Magnesium is an essential mineral that many people are deficient in. Absorbed transdermally through bath and foot soaks, it supports muscle relaxation, reduces tension, promotes restful sleep, and replenishes skin. We use it in our Bath Brew and Two Step products for a genuinely therapeutic soak.
🌿 Organic Calendula
A beloved skin-soothing botanical with centuries of use in herbal medicine. Calendula is rich in flavonoids and carotenoids that calm inflammation, speed wound healing, and soothe sensitive or irritated skin. It's gentle enough for all skin types and appears throughout our product line.
🌱 Organic Plantain (Plantago major)
Not the banana — this is a common wildcrafted herb with remarkable drawing and soothing properties. Plantain helps pull impurities from the skin, reduces inflammation, and supports healing of minor cuts, stings, and irritations. It's a key ingredient in our salves and underarm detox.
🪨 Bentonite Clay
A naturally occurring volcanic clay with a strong negative charge that attracts and binds positively charged toxins, heavy metals, and impurities. In our Stop Pit Underarm Detox, it works to draw out buildup from conventional deodorants and support a healthy transition to natural deodorant.
⬛ Activated Organic Coconut Shell Charcoal
Activated charcoal has an enormous surface area that adsorbs (binds to) impurities and toxins. Paired with bentonite clay in our underarm detox, it provides a deep cleanse that helps reset the underarm microbiome and reduce odor at the source.
🫐 Organic Raw Kokum Butter
A firm, non-comedogenic butter from the kokum fruit. Kokum butter is one of the most skin-compatible fats available — it absorbs without clogging pores, supports skin regeneration, and is particularly well-suited for oily or acne-prone skin. It's the star of our About Face moisturizer.
🍊 Organic Raw Sea Buckthorn Oil
One of the most nutrient-dense plant oils on earth, sea buckthorn is rich in omega-3, -6, -7, and -9 fatty acids, as well as carotenoids that give it a deep orange color. It supports skin regeneration, reduces redness, and promotes a healthy glow. Used in About Face (omitted in the Simply Clear variety).
🥕 Organic Carrot Seed Oil
Cold-pressed from wild carrot seeds, this oil is rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, and antioxidants. It supports skin cell renewal, helps even skin tone, and provides a degree of natural UV protection. Used in SunShade and About Face for its regenerative and protective qualities.
🍓 Organic Red Raspberry Seed Oil
Naturally high in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and tocopherols (vitamin E), red raspberry seed oil is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect skin from environmental damage. Used in SunShade to complement zinc oxide's broad-spectrum protection.
🍫 Organic Raw Cacao Butter
Pressed from raw cacao beans, this butter is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, and carries a natural, subtle chocolate scent. It deeply moisturizes, improves skin elasticity, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Used in select Dandy Bar varieties and SunShade.
🏹 Organic Arrowroot Powder
A fine, starchy powder derived from the arrowroot plant. It acts as a natural silkening agent, reducing tackiness and improving the skin-feel of our Winterub vapor salve. It also has mild moisture-absorbing properties that keep skin comfortable.
🫘 Organic Castor Oil
A thick, conditioning oil rich in ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. In Buggeroo, it adds staying power and helps the formula adhere to skin longer for extended protection.
🌾 Organic Raw Argan Butter
Rich in vitamin E, squalene, and essential fatty acids, argan absorbs quickly, softens skin, and has a non-greasy finish. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and restores suppleness. Used in About Face and Winterub for its deeply nourishing properties.

Pressed from mango seed kernels, mango butter is rich in stearic and oleic acids and absorbs beautifully. It softens, conditions, and helps restore the skin's natural barrier. Used in SunShade and Winterub for its emollient and protective qualities.

We use certified organic essential oils throughout our line — selected for both their therapeutic properties and their scent.
